Hi All

Having just recently acquired an new AFX set I'm already keen to extend it, unfortunately Tony has no AFX straights at the mo so eBay here I come but would like to check first, is all AFX track compatible? Scalextric changed their Classic to Sport and don't want to get caught out with getting track that don't fit

So basically shall I just look for any track that's AFX and away I go or do I need to look for something more specific? Or maybe can I broaden the search for other makes of track which will connect with the AFX I already have?

Paul,

Whilst there are other options, I would stick with track that has both the Tomy and Aurora logo on the underside, this will connect straight to the track from your 24hr set.

All Tomy AFX track is the same, but Aurora track is different, and I've forgotten to send you that power supply.

Not to worry Julian, the track is set up in the loft and it's way too warm to be up there at the mo anyway

Yeah I was kindly given some track by jon C that looks like AFX track but slides together from the side with hook type things instead of pushing together, I guess this is Aruora? Try and see a piccie before buying.

Yep, that's Aurora track, you can get adapters to join it to Tomy track.

Indeed, but I think it is better with 'toy' track to stick with one make.

I would just like to add yes Marc that is aurora and I would stick with one make but I have found it much cheeper to by kits instead of singal track pieces plus you normally get more cars that way two
