Hello,
Does anyone know the meaning of the Airfix Slot Racing Tyre sizes?
They come up for sale occasionally, but they just give an Airfix size of 10,20,30,40 etc.
I know that the 30's relate to mini coopers.
But what about the others.
Any ideas anybody?
Thank you.
T.S.

I know the

10: Rear tyres for Cooper, Lotus, Ferrari, Porsche (the 1,5 liter F1 cars)

20: Front tyres for Cooper, Lotus, Ferrari, Porsche
Fronts & rears for Jaguar E, Ford Zodiac, Sunbeam Rapier

30: for Mini Cooper as you said

40: rears for Mercedes and Auto Union (30's cars)

50: fronts for Mercedes and Auto Union

60: Rears for Vanwall and Maserati (50's F1)

About the others, Viva tyres are only for Viva, they are too big for 30 Mini Cooper. 70 probably fronts for Vanwall and Maserati?
