It's been a while since I was supposed to take some pictures of my current track. It was even urgent to do it as this track will change place in a few weeks so I had to keep some souvenirs

For those who like to read a bit, there are some texts also here (in French only unfortunately)
I tried to give some details about the conception and building of the track

Large view of the track. #1 pilot station lower right and #2 far left; both drivers get then a clear and can easily marshall each half of the track.

The <<Corner>>. Inside, the Martini hairspin (1 R1 with R2 on each side). Outside, the fast BP curve (R4 - R3 - R3 - R4)

The pits straight. Rather short, it allows anyway to accelerate before the Dunlop left

The main (back) staright. All cars are able to reach max speed before a quick and light break for the fast BP curve.

More later...

Lovely !!
As you say the pit straight is a bit short but is good quality though - very nice.

It's nice, simple, effective scenery within the space you have to work with. Well done!
I've seen some people just try to cram to much into a small layout which just ends up looking like a cluttered mess.
I like what you've done here.
Beautiful, the uncluttered look of your circuit is very impressive.

I was also admiring your website (with the assistance of the Google translator as I am unable to read french sadly) and was most interested by your green and white painted crash barriers, what type of paint or process do you use?

So true

I like this track very clean work
Flows beautifully - how can you break it up? If the new track is an improvement I can't wait to see pics.
I have read your website many times before I started my own track. It was very inspiring!
I hope your new track will develop soon!

Are you planning to get rid of that Sports track or just rebuilding you track ?
(On peut espérer non ?)

I simply used glossy spray paint, 1 white and 1 green (rather dark). Maybe should have I primed the barriers first as scratches have appeared when cars tail in them... I've been inspired by things like this :

Well, I've been running with Scalex Sport for years and it's maybe time to try something else... I've several ideas but more on this subject later

A few more pictures

The back curve in <<L>>. In this curve the barriers have been spray painted, white & green. Tribunes were scheduled each side of the track, just before the Dunlop bridge

The Dunlop / Shell curve. A left / right that goes larger to reach the main straight. The Dunlop bridge (2nd one in fact) is an old Jouef

The BP fast bend. It consists of R4 - R3 - R3 - R4

Hi

Nice! I like the tarmac, with some patches of diffferent colours.

Jon
Really like the tarmac as well...just curious what kind of paint you use for the darker patches.
