reality check on where slot racing's CG is .....

On the technical side, I was impressed by the salami slicer - but of course jamon serrano doesn't hold a candle to Parma's prosciutto

BTW, I see a Dome Judd (of all cars) won - but I believe it was just a body on a Slot.it HRS chassis

...and, to rub in a bit more salt, on the same week-end they also ran the classic St.Celoni 24h race - but with "only" 16 cars (a Slot.it Audi won for the 3rd year in a row....Alan ?)

It is true that the S.Celoni race only had 16 cars...but in the prequalifying 16 teams were left out, so overall 32 teams raced - only 16 made it to the finals.

And yes, the Slot.it Audi R8C won for the third time in a row and no other car has ever been able to win that race more than twice and yes I am very happy

AFAIK there was no UK team, for sure not in S.Celoni; you really should enter one at the Igualada Spanish Championship on Oct 30-31.

The italian Fenice Varese Team lead by Alberto Elli reached an excellent second place in Alcorcon while the other italian guys from Soragna (home of many ham and alike delicacies) really had their share of bad luck in S.Celoni and did not qualify.

As for jamon (ham) - I was impressed by the quality of some of the spanish jamon
, I think it was Jamon Iberico and not serrano. Or maybe it was Pata Negra ??
