Hi Richard,

Itis Scalextric. they first released it in the 60's and re-released it in the 90's. it is overscale, around 1:30. the 90's Power & glory re-release is still often found at swapmeets.

Hello Richard,
The all-red Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 was C241. It was one of the pair of the "Racing Classic" cars, the other being the C242 blue Bentley. From my recollection, they were a limited edition issue of about 500 each in the Racing Classics boxes, perhaps someone else may be able to confirm this?

The car pictured is a repaint from the PRS company from Italy.
This was the first slot car from Sandro at PRS.

I think that about 50 may have been made, but not sure as it is sometime since I had one in stock.

There was about 1000 C241 in red made and 1200 of the blue C242 Bentley, however these were also issued in Spain under the Superslot brand and there may have been a lot more of these produced!

Then there is the NSCC red Alfa, only about 80 of these were made, with the vintage series C306 number.

PRS don't sell direct, so you will have to find them through the usual dealers.

This Alfa was made about 6+ years ago, so could be hard to find now.
I had my last one about 18 months ago and I think I sold it for around £100.
