Have just logged into this forum and now find that all the options are "greyed" out when I go to make a post. eg, unable to change Fonts, sizr of text, add a link, or photo etc.

Yes, I also find that you can't put emojis into your post, something that I used in order to keep it "informal & fun"

I dont use emojis very often but they seem to be there for me if I choose the advanced option for my replies.

The grey out thing is beyond me though.

Try a PM to Jason B another mod.

Sorry, I've tried to have a look at this, but I can't replicate the problem, either on my admin account, or on the test member account. Everything is working as normal for me.
I suspect the members concerned have somehow engaged a basic display option.

Try changing themes in the bottom left corner of screen
Hi
Have tried logging in and out, and changing the "Theme".
Am using Windows 7 64 bit with "Chrome"
This problem popped up out of the blue.

Dave
I don't know Chrome but have recently fixed several problems that I thought were (other) site related by clearing the cache and some cookies in Firefox.

Solved, It was all the fault of that little square icon at the top left of the option bar. If you click on it all the option are "grayed" out until you click on it a second time.....

Well found Dave. Can't say I've ever noticed that before.

It looks like a light switch if you look closely, but doesn't have a tool tip when you hover over it, which is a bit unhelpful.

It's a button that toggles the reply box to either the full editor or plain html. Useful if you need to edit image urls, links and similar.

Here's what the reply box looks like when using the full editor to type a post which contains a link and an image not hosted by SlotForum.

Here's the same reply with the html button switched on.

Tried to report a dodgy post, strangely not one of mine, ........ only to get the dreaded "YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO DO THIS" .........

Maybe we could have a sweepstake as to what is going to get screwed next??

Thanks David, good work.

It looks more like BB code than html. Useful to know though.
Did you see post #15?
If you're asking me, I was replying to someone else when you posted.

PM me if you want to report something.
