The first one, I believe, is the Barron Connor car currently running in LMES. The second is the 'carbon fibre' car that got excluded at Donington's FIA GT round.

Incidentally, they abandoned the carbon fibre look after Donington and painted their cars.......... yes, you guessed it black!

Will be buying at least one, unless the wife reads this......

I quite like the black, can't believe it's a Carrera, Ferrari.

We'll hopefully see and race these things shortly. Then we can see if they'll be added to the collection.

The black car looks stunning, but I will attempt not to buy it, since all my other black cars become camoflaged when on the track. (the GT40 #2 with white stripes is the worst as the stripes match the rails)

That seems true to me, at least my Carreras seem faster with out the magnets?!?

Perhaps it's wishful thinking but everytime I look again at these snaps I think to myself, "the chassis looks low (I know the guide ain't in there), maybe, just maybe these are new chassis."

Wait for the reviews (of course, they could say a very different story) but in my opinion Carrera are vastly improved in the last three years or so and whilst the dynamics are different to the other brands their cars are now worthy of purchase. More toy-like than the rest but these wagons look very good; like they've raised their game even further.

Time will tell. Roll on October....
