I recently brought myself a Scaley Scooby shell.... in plain white.

As far as I am aware Scalextric don't make spare shells (up untill now in the kits), which had lead me to wonder about this car- a shell from a limited edition plain car?, maybe even a pre-production model?. I dunno

Not exactly sure where they came from (apart from China!) but there are several of these bare body shells around in several colours, i have seen Subaru's in light blue, white, two shades of red.

I have a similar couple of shells for the Hornby Toyota Corrola in white and red.

Where did you get it?

I picked mine up from a guy in Germany

I got it from the ebay.. for about a fiver!

The plan is to get a plain white spoiler, and swap over all the lights, interior etc from another Subaru.

Hi

It is just an un-tampoed shell from C2171 - the Stormil car. There are a number of unprinted shells floating about at the moment - Suabrus in Black, white and pale blue and Toyota Corollas in two shades of red and white. Has anyone got any others ? They were made in Margate just before production moved to China and are probably just spare shells someone found sitting in a box in the warehouse.
