I'd forgotten I'd acqired this one but with some new rears, braids, motor lead wires and body I'll have a fine projectile.

It's so distinctive I wondered if any of our U.K. readers recognise it?

The motor I believe to be a Mura B, the arm. is a Group 20 so a bit mild by 1/24 raceway standards of the day. How it is hinged you can tell from one pic. The body I think is a Porsche 917/10 which first appeared as a vacform late in 1972. Clearly it last raced on yellow lane!

Cheers,

Richard

Philipe: Thanks for the opinion. My take on the literature of the time is that we in the U.K. were some while behind the U.S.A. (but months not 2 or 3 years) and somewhat awed by the likes of Bob Emott crossing the pond and cleaning up at Tottenham Model Raceway in 1/24. Whatever, I shall enjoy running it! Richard.
