Is Artin 1/32 track & accessories available on your side of the pond? The distributor here in the US went belly up (passed away, actually), and nobody has stepped in. I have two of the 4 lane sets, giving me a quite decent amount of track, but I'd like to be able to order a special piece or two now & then. Like half straights, R3's, R4's, borders, etc. If not, I'll have to decide whether to abandon it and go with another brand. The thing is, I don't see any other brand with a better track system. Yeah, the cars are cheap, as are the controllers, wall warts, etc. I.e. everything about Artin is cheap, except the actual track, which is excellent. I like it better than Scaley Classic, Sport, or Ninco.

I was wondering what happened to Artin in the U.S.A.
They were just starting to release some half decent product.
The only new stuff I`ve seen in the UK is the odd 1/43 set in a few toy shops.
There is also very little second hand Artin stuff on Ebay over here.
Cheers,
Kev.

I'm a little surprised. If not there, then where has Artin been distributing their product? Have they just gone out of business? I thought our supply dried up here only because our distributor passed away.

QUOTE (flyer15 @ 7 Dec 2011, 21:36) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>No the distributor here in the US went out of business when the owner passed away several years ago.

Isn't that exactly what I said?

As far as I'm aware Artin track and accessories are still available here in the wonderful land of Aus. Roland and the boys at SlotShop sell it. They can be found at www.slotshop.net (sorry, no direct link so as to comply with SFI rules)

No probs. Hopefully it all works out for you. Not aware of anyone else that deals in Artin. Postage isn't exactly cheap in Australia. The shipping will be about average, not plumped up and overpriced as is found on eBay.
