Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato - Le Mans 1961

GP Minatures kit and wheels

I built this several years ago and raced it at my club.
Graham kindly gave me some decals, glazing and etched parts to allow me to rebuild the car.
Well, it’s time.

Here’s my progress thus far.

In the late 1960s Dick Gregory painted his DB4 Zagato in bright red, widened the arches and fitted a set of very wide alloy wheels.

At VSCC Prescott there were members who grumbled with deep disapprobation all day, and they were the ones who hadn't fainted at the sight of such heresy.

Hi Bigblock,

I bought the Ferrari 166 from a friend.
I think it’s a Ocar.

Cheers,

Hi Brian,
What a wonderful -rebuild- of the Aston. 👏
I also did the -Aston Martin Zagato - in Le Mans version some years ago. It´s a pitty that GP-miniatures did not exist any longer. 😢
The quality of these kits is nearly the best I ever worked with........... but I will admit some experience (and skill) is needed for assembling ...........

vbr, claus
