Only problem is, that is the only A1 GP set I have, now I'm going to have to get the rest of them.

The other tricky ones to get hold of are the German and American cars ..... keep on trying because they will eventually turn up.

Quite a few members on this forum helped me to complete my set by either donating, swapping or selling them to me ......... thanks again guys :thumpsub:

Nice mate,

I brought the same set as well. I added a Scalextric Digital Platnium set to it. I only need USA and Canada now to complete the set as well. However before I complete the set I want to chip my existing cars to digital to really get the feel of it and build pits for all 10 teams that can be swapped in as teams race. All these plans in my head and no time to do it

Shame A1GP did not catch on and give F1 a run for its money. I suppose Hornby took the licence hoping it was going to big, then when it did not catch on deleted it early. Not got any in my collection or F1 too fragile, if you have a full set of all countries, maybe worth something some day.

You would be suprised how robust the A1GP cars are and how bad a crash they can take. My young bloke sent one flying across the room and no damage at all.

And finally only a year later two of them in their own little boxes. Only run once for a test drive by a little old lady, it amazing the wear she put on the tires of one of them, she must have been doing burnouts, but she didn't do any damage.

Off to the swap shop I go.
