At Pendle a properly set up toyota is just as quick as an audi ,its just that due to the slot it audi challenge every one is using the audi but the fly porsche and the proslot gt3 can also turn in the same laptimes with out any problem

From the evidence of the Phoenix meeting it would seem that the Audi is superior on Ninco track where the voltage is high, around 20v. I think it is the Phoenix meeting Driver 3 is referring to, its a long time since hes been to Pendle. On our 8 lane 130ft Ninco track at Eastcote there is little between the Audis, Toyotas and evo Porsches, running on around 15-16v.
On routed track I believe a well set up Toyota can still win. At the recent Molesey open day the home drivers were lapping in around 9.5 s with both Toyotas and Audis. I think more depends on set up and driver skill than type of car.

Roly - i'd reckon that James's Audi @ Molesey was in the 9.1 bracket and turned 8.99 under race conditions on the next club night. Then again Don's Hornby MG Lola with the standard motor beat quite a few (read alot) of people.

As for the Fly racing Saleen/Porsche they can be quick given the right conditions but as box standard the Slot,it products are second to none.

And as a major bonus the Slot.it car are proper models with interiors, race liverys and already come with a decent cw/p, axles, wheels etc.
