You should be able to get a 917 body pretty cheaply, they're fairly common, might be worth looking for a complete car though so that you get some spare parts, Wayne should have some brand new motors of mine, I'm sure we can work something out.
If I hadn't lost a front tyre in the final on Wednesday I'd have been a quite a bit closer to Paul, I don't kno what Paul can buy to make his car faster though, perhaps he's going to build a spare car.
I wish I knew why there's so much variation in them, I suspect it's down to how well the armature lines up in the chassis.
Got a brand new X-Traction out of the pack this morning and it's a quick one straight away, no idea why and I'm not going to take it apart to find out, the one I had that was quick is now slow so I'll be rebuilding that one.
I think AW magnets vary in strength but have no way of measuring them.
I believe Dash magnets are for T-Jets and are smaller than AFX magnets, you can get polymer AFX magnets but they're not AVHORA legal, altough junior racers can use them but aren't included in the AVHORA championship.

It's not in AVHORA rules.
I thought the curve of T-Jet magnets mean they don't fit in the AFX cars, but I haven't tried that hard.
