Hello all

The last time i used my Scalextric track and cars was about 15 years ago. However a month ago i decided to put my track up and running again, and why i really dont know. It just came to me for some reason. And after a couple of hours cleaning the track up i was on my way, and i had a lot of fun. That once started out as being a toy when i was a kid, have now become a real hobby. And as fun it is racing my cars, i must say that building and constructing tracks and scenery is almost as fun. Anyway, the cars that i currently racing are ofcourse? my old cars from the 80´s. And one car is surely my favorite and that is a Scalextric SRS Porsche 962- c. SRS stands for "super racing system" haha, and the paper that came with the car says it all...For advanced scalextric drivers...well i know as well as you know that the cars have changed since then...but still after all these years that have past since it used to run around my track...it can hold its own, still fast and handles like a dream. My favorite, after all it was my first car....

So i am happy to be back on track you all.

And yes...i guess its about time for me to update my cars, some of my "oldtimers"
just seems to end up in the "pit". Due to the fact that they are missing spare parts..hmmmm....any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forum.

Nothing wrong with the Scaley 962, great cars.....and you can update them to give Slot.it Porsches a run for their money.
