Hello everyone. I buy/trade lots of interesting items and I've found myself in possession of a large artin slot car race track. It has never been opened and until very recently it sat in an attic in the cardboard box it was sent to sears(forget what store, don't think it was sears but it was similar) so there's been no fading or damage to the packaging. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post pictures here or if I'm allowed to upload them to imgur and link them. I'm going to be selling this set soon and I'd like to know what price is fair vs going into it completely blind.

Box says "super highway race set"

78 ft of racing action
Layout size 12 ft X 6 ft
"In the air" banked curve
14" giant loops
Up & down spoiler trap
Exciting 4" high multislot jump ramps (was wondering how often the cats land the jumps vs wiping out by landing wrong lol)
Magnetic base ferrari and lamborghini racers with operating headlights

It has a red ferrari and white lamborghini. It's pretty big and heavy. I haven't been able to find this particular slot car set online anywhere so I've come here in search of info such as what is a fair price for this and what year was it made? There are no dates that I can find anywhere. I'm just guessing 80s because of the ferrari testarossa.

Thank you to anyone with any info they can give me. I had to stop my friend from opening this up and trying to put it together. I'd bet money that he would've got bored or distracted before it was completely put together and likely lose or break something. I have had lots of hobbies and i want it to go to someone whod appreciate it.

Artin was very high volume and low quality. Having said that, the fact that it is unopened might make it worth something to someone...
Personally I would not pay more than 50 USD$ but I am not a connoisseur

If it is unused, a 1:43 buyer might pay a little more than usual, but Artin 1:43 may be the most common type out there...there are loads of sets and used track on eBay and FB marketplace. The track is pretty good quality for what it is, but nothing particularly special. Their 1/32 stuff is excellent - I use it myself and there always seems to be a demand for it.
