Another good blag there!
The track in the middle pic is for the grannies, not Scaley obvoiusly.
The Revell/Monogram Etype is nice not the best of runners but if it's just for you to run then it should be just fine.

had some fantastic bargains of late (just for a change!).

this lot ended up , after a bit of dealing , ended up owing me £1.01. all "as new".

and this haul , plus an assortment of other bits and pieces , ended up costing me the grand total of £1.65. pretty much all the bits were there but not nessecarily in the right place.

i think the bargain fairy has used all her lucky dust on me now though!

I got my first Scalextric set a few about 2 year ago now used it twice and then put it away in my wardrobe, before getting the slot car bug a few months ago now after I got it out again one day - set it up and have never looked back since!.

It was a Scalextrc Digital Driver C1197 set with the mini coopers red/yellow, brand new in box complete and mint, ok the box had been opened but it was clearly never set-up.

I spotted in a local money trader type shop it was priced at £50, I used to go in that shop every few days and this Scalextric set was on the shelf for about 9 months before it was finally priced down to half price, so I snapped it up for £25!, I though that was bargain.

At the time I wasn't at all aware that it was great price as I wasn't into Scalextric and never used eBay!, so I didn't know what it was really worth, I could get £25 just for the lane-changer these days.

Well the cars can be had for about 20 pounds each on ebay, (since a lot of platinum sets where bought over Christmas at an all time super low price, and broken up by the sellers to put the parts on ebay) and the whole Extreme speed set at Scalextric.com costs £75 nowadays,

so apart from the "£100 down" you still have a great bargain!!!

Cheers,
Martin
