I agree that the March 711 would be nice...

...but after the Eagle, please!

Chris has made this interesting one-off hybrid between the 711 and 721, based on a Scalextric body:-

Kind regards

You've obviously not had the disease called Indy -- no known cure. I know it is an oval but it is something more. Ask a NASCAR driver if he could win any non-NASCAR race which it would be and he will tell you the 500. Monaco is about as close as the islanders and continentals can come in mystique. Graham, Nigel, Jackie, and Jimmy were there. I saw Clark run - he was one fine racing driver, if not the best. Look up the one time he drove a non-Lotus at an Indy car race. He made believers of us that day.

If they do an Eagle it had better have a Ford 4 Cammer in the back or a Gurney- Westlake 305 then you can jam in the Climax 4 or the Westlake V-12!

I'm getting so confused. Gime time, I guess the Indy cars are a fascination that developed when I was a kid in the UK living next to Brands. Those fancy colourful cars on the otherside of the world.
I did move to the states in time to see Rutherford run a McLaren at Atlanta Motor Speedway...the last Champ car race they ever had there....can you say fast, they were lapping at 215.

Yes I will be modeling F-1 cars...Al Penrose is going to mould a 64 Brabham, a true Beardog/BWA joint venture. (ask Al nicely & he may post a pix of the components)

But first...a Lotus 38.

Then maybe an Eagle, and if I can engineer the main tub, and then a Indy back-end, a Westlake back-end, and a Climax back-end...plus a side tank, and 4 inlet manifolds.......well you get the idea.

Just keep them coming Chris, we will take them all!

The Lotus 38 will do nicely... Thanks!

The 1964 Brabham BT-11 will be nice, too. Just a tad too early for me, I personally prefer the cars from a year or two later... the '67 BT-24 would have been my choice.

Kind regards,

If you do the basic body you could supply different engines - later some were armed with Turbo Offies. You imerpialists can have the V-12 and Climax and us sensible people can have the real powerhouse machines. Of course if you build one with the Climax you will have to put in an NC-1 for realism.
