BEARWOOD SCALEXTRIC CLUB - 2012 SUMMER SEASON DATES.

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING DATES ARE ALTERNATE THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS IN ORDER TO SUIT EVERYONE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE***

The idea for the summer is to race anything other than what we usually race all season, but I have included the 70's F1 stuff as it is the Thursday before the final rounds of the Championship at Great Barr.

I have also included the Transit vans as they are not too serious !

Whatever you happen to bring I'm sure we can all find something to race against it as well.

July 2012:-

• Thurs 5th July - HORNBY PORSCHE 962's (no magnet) - or - OLD HORNBY MINIS
• Fri 13th July - SCX T/TOYS MK2 ESCORTS - or - SCX NASCARS (WITH MAGNET)
• Thurs 19th July - OLD HORNBY SMALL WHEELS CARS - or - SCX TRUCKS
• Fri 27th July - OLD HORNBY LARGE WHEELS CARS - or - HORNBY PORSCHE 962's (no magnet)

August 2012:-

• Thurs 2nd Aug - TRANSIT VANS - or - SCX T/TOYS CLASSIC RALLY CARS
• Fri 10th Aug - HORNBY GT CARS (inc std magnet) - or - OLD HORNBY MINIS
• Thu 16th Aug - SCX T/TOYS MK2 ESCORTS - or - 1970's F1 CHAMPIONSHIP CARS
• Fri 24th Aug - SCX TRUCKS - or - TRANSIT VANS
• Thurs 30th Aug - SCX NASCARS (WITH MAGNET) - or - SCX T/TOYS CLASSIC RALLY CARS

Thurs 6th Sept 2012 - New Season Starts!

• HORNBY PORSCHE 962's (no magnet) - I have 4 of these that I can bring along - fit BTCC wheels & tyres though as std ones are poor)
• SCX TRUCKS - NB - SPARE TRUCKS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BORROW ON THE NIGHT
• SCX T/TOYS MK2 ESCORTS - such a good car we must use them more !!!
• SCX T/TOYS CLASSIC RALLY CARS - Sunbeam Lotus, Fiat 131, Citroen DS, Renault 8 to name but a few...........................
• MINIS = OLD SCALEXTRIC MINIS SUPPLIED BY ME
• TRANSITS = SUPPLIED BY ME
• OLD HORNBY CARS SMALL WHEEL = MK1 ESCORT, MINI, DATSUN 260Z ETC WITH JOHNSON MOTORS ONLY PLEASE
• OLD HORNBY CARS LARGE WHEEL = PORSCHE 911, BMW 3.0CSL, ROVER 3500 WITH JOHNSON MOTORS ONLY PLEASE
• SCX NASCARS = SUPPLIED BY STEVE HARBORNE FOR US TO USE
• HORNBY GT CARS (inc std weak plastic magnet) JAG XJ220, FERRARI F40, LATER PORSCHE 962 ETC)

Please also feel free to bring along whatever you would like to race as well - the above are just suggestions - please look at your cars and see what you haven't used in the Championship classes and bring them along.

There will be spare cars to borrow for all of the above classes so please still come even if you don't have any of the above types of cars. I will also see what else I can find at home that we can race.
