Graham,
The rear wings were filled and smoothed with car body filler, and polyester putty ('Green Putty'). The front wings were joined with seperate pieces of super sculpy, this was shaped by sandwiching a piece between the body and front wing until the wing was in the correct position, cling film acted as a barrier between the pieces. The piece was then removed and baked seperatley, glued to the body and smoothed in with 'Green Putty'.
Alan,
All of the mould making/casting supplies I use are from Alec Tiranti Ltd. I used a urethane resin (Axon F16) as opposed to a polyester resin as this can be more brittle. For the mould I used a high strength silicon Rubber (T28) due to the undercuts and awkward front end on this particular model. These materials/supplier have been mentioned before on slotforum and must say they really are first rate.
