Hey all.

So i'm dusting off my rally cars in time for the wolves slot rally and recently purchased a SCX Fiat 124 also.

just wondering what might be the best tyre to use on the rears as the standard SCX tyres seem to work on rougher surfaces but not so well on slippy surfaces like gloss paint.

Thanks in advance for advice.

On my best few cars ( scoring wise) , I used standard SCX tyres trued quiet severely (I.e. took lots of rubber off until the tread is just about still visible) put a gurt big chamfer on the outside of the rears to allow a lot of roll before biting and desolating, and rubbed them to death with 3-in-1 to soften them.

Others may have really clever tricks, but thats what worked for me. Best of luck. See you at Wolves.

Thanks for that snurfen, it's already started to soften them up
