I regret that I must inform you all that this event and the following days 'Double Trouble event are CANCELLED.
I am sorry that I have to do this but I the tracks simply will not be ready in time.

Hi Mick.
I am sure you are as disapointed as the rest of us. There are only so many man hours you can expect to receive from your faithfull clubmen, and I am sure you have all tried your best to get the final track assembly and finishing touches to the Clubroom completed before the event.
Thanks for letting us know in good time, and I hope John and you can find another date later in the year for this great meeting.

Hi guys,

Having given the matter a lot of serious thought I think it is best that we do not reschedule the meeting for this year but we will be announcing the date for next year soon.

The only dates left in a very crowded calendar would mean that the meeting would have to take place very close to others that likely competitors would also be entering. This might have a detrimental effect on the entries for all those events.
