Not much response to this John!
So I'll be the first to say that I'd be up for this (though I suspect that'll put more people off than on!)
The Merit class race we ran a couple of years ago at North London was very successful and I guess most who attended that will still have suitable cars.
Maybe the sports class is a bit similar to your double trouble meeting,
how about GP/indy cars from 'not sure' but up to and including the turbo era?
