QUOTE (Wankel Ickx @ 8 Nov 2004, 21:37)This board is not here to promote sneaking into closed events such as the NSCC hosted MK event.
Is signing up for the NSCC, and thereby gaining legal admission, really that expensive? Hell, you'll get to read some interesting articles, reviews and more.
Why, I believe that there is at least one new contributor appearing in print shortly, hmm, yes. Wonder who that would be?
Now, I believe that the title of this thread refers to somewhere just North of MK, doesn't it?
Back on track, please.
[Edit]
Sorry, didn't mean to ignore your questions PaulH.
Take a look-see
here for an application form and details.
Regarding the 'swap' part of the meet, swaps are done but mostly it is table after table of shiny things, and some not so shiny things that look a bit knackered, laid out for you to buy. Most of the tables are run by dealers, the rest are ordinary Joe's. And under the tables you can also find rummage boxes for little bits of treasure.

I wasent trying to sneek in to a closed event as sutch!
If you read how this thread had developed i was made aware that this event was worth visiting as opposed to the nec toy show as i will be taking a days holiday to visit the event
Someone then posted that this event may be exclusive to nscc members but as in previous years non members will gain entry
And as i will be traveling quite some distance from manchester to milton keynes wanted to clarify if :-
1. I needed to be a nscc member
2. If the above is membership open
3. If membership is closed then are you allowed to pay a higher entry fee to gain admittence
4. As i am new to swapmeets etc wanted to know what i could expect if i was to gain entry
thank you for sending me details of the application form for the nscc i will be completing and sending the application asap
