Hello,

Does anyone know where you can get Bodyshell post strengtheners from?

My Blue Supra's front post has a crack in it from where the screw has gone in.
(taking the car apart too often no doubt).

I think they just push over the existing post and hold it together.

Any ideas?

I think someone mentioned Ken had some?

Yes we did get it from Ken but not sure what it's called or where he got it from.

Just use some Styrene Tube cut to length. Evergreen make a good selection that can be picked up from ebay or most model shops.
Google "Evergreen Styrene Tubing"

Hello, Thanks for the info guys. I might try getting some of this "Evergreen Styrene Tubing"
as it seems to be the stuff other people use.

Cheers for the offer Dave, I think the tubing needs to be quite rigid, not soft.
Not sure what your tubing is like?

Soft tubing isn't a bad thing as it will be able to stretch over the splitting post and hold quite firm and snug. I've used aluminium tubing on a couple of split Ninco mounting posts.
