Happy Christmas to all - sorry to miss the last two meetings but was a bit worried about the weather (I even prepared some cars for last Thursday but, much as I like coming down, didn't want to run the risk of spending the night in Liphook). Also without the gas turbine it can be a bit nippy, and with it, well there's something of an oxygen shortage, so it's either death from hypothermia or hypoxia!

Bit confused as I remember being asked whether it was an open class - implied that it mattered! I hope you're not going to be bringing these new MSC jobbies or I'm going to be massacred (more than normal). Withdraw that - given that last night's last class was the 2nd lowest possible score for me, please bring MSCs and give me an excuse!

I always default to "standard, unless otherwise noted".

I was mistaken about the Cooper King Cobra being a development of the Bruce MacLaren Cooper Oldsmobile. The King Cobra was based on the Cooper Monaco sports car, but the Cooper Oldsmobile was a rebuilt Cooper T53 F1 car.

What that means is that the only cars eligible for the Revell TT class are as follows:
Shelby Daytona Cobra coupe
Jaguar E-type
Porsche 550
Ferrari 250 GTO LM.

Standard spec cars only please!

The Grand Sport Corvette and Porsche 904 were both pre '65.

I've been persuaded to open up the Fly Prototype class to include Hornby cars. I thought we had run the class before, but it turns out that may have been at Bolwextric, so there are people without cars.

So class 2 is now Fly & Hornby modern prototypes. Only standard cars, no GTs or funny tyres. Basically if I see a Hornby car winning, I'll be very suspicious and might have to get the scrutineer's hat out of the back of the cupboard

Jim, In case Trigger and Kevin are free - are club cars available for the Revell pre 65 TT and Fly modern Prototype classes?
Or does my Porsche Joest or Hornby

Lola LMP qualify.

There are club cars for the Revell class.

Joest is fine for Fly prototypes and the Lola is eligible but not so fine.
