I'm about at the point where I have decided on a layout to fit a 12 x 4 area
Its mainly for racing so will have no real scenery at all, I intend to drop the track level inside 6mm foam but would like an alternative to the scaley boarders?
Any suggestions as to what these are best made of ? I intend to paint the boarders the outfield will then be laid to green mat.
In addition whats the minimum thickness MDF I can get away with to support elevated sections of track
