I applaud the new group 2s. I love the smaller engined cars that are the essence of what a 鈥渟ports鈥 car should be. They are especially suitable on a smaller twisty scalex track like mine. And with the revoslot chassis they are not so tippy as with a plastic chassis. Please sir may I have some more? I bought the BRM 1/24 scale R8 & Opel Kadett for nostalgic reasons (my first 2 real cars) and would love to see them in 1/32 scale. I almost bought the gorgeous blue Alfa but it deemed It a bit large for my track.

Multi-manufacturer clases are where all of the good stuff happens.
DiSCA is a great example. Black Arrow taking on NSR in the Spanish events would be something I'd like to watch.
Do not forget that DiSCA also standardize motor, rear tyres and has a min body weight. These basically influence 95% of how a car will perform and that is why it works so well.
Sure, then you have the 5% that you can put what you like (to a certain extent, eg GT3 up to 14t pinion), and build as you like (to a certain extent, eg no metal chassis/pod).
Some people are able to take advantage of this 5% and when you also have good drivers...

I agree with the general sentiment that boycotting a manufacturer because it is trying to do something different is a no go.

I buy cars because I like them. Not because there is a class for them. If there is a class you don't like simply don't run it. I love cars. All sorts of cars. So I run every thing our club runs. I really really like scx cars my club doesn't run scx cars. I don't care I continue to buy scx cars. Most people didn't like the rx motors I do like them. The new FR42 motors are even better. But at the end of the day this is my opinion. I welcome REVO to make any car they want if you don't buy it. You know I WILL! am Jerry and I LOVE ALL SLOT CARS!

Hmmm. Well I think R377 has been a yanking on our chains - pulled the pin, lobbed a grenade and then sat back to check out the explosion. 馃

It's frightening how many liveries the Escort alone could be released with, I'd go as far as endless liveries.

...and can we have spotlights please Revoslot as here's a trio of Rally cars

Looks like the Bimmer has two styles of wheel arches, but I don't think either is the most ubiquitous, I'm sure more race and rally 02 bodied cars had bubble arches a la Ford Escort mk 1.
All very nice, resisting the Escort and GTA is futile, but I'll pass on a Bimmer.

Spotted where, Tif'?

Um, er, Italy, not just spotted but handled :)
I should have also taken photos of the 1/24 Scirroco and Datsun 240Z prototypes and the Thunderslots Ferrari 350P Can Am,
The box full of different colour Thunderslot Mustangs looked VERY nice....
