awkward to adjust things? I was unplugging my controller and adjusting the brakes and ohms all the way thru a race.. still won! you just have to fumble around a bit

on the subject of holding slot car controllers, some do tend to hold the area around the resistor, I know I do sometimes if the throttle feels heavy but lighter throttles I tend not to
