Hello friends, here is a small 1/32 BRM built for my friend Don Siegel ; one of the most patient men I know ....

Mac Pinches body and Atlas chassis.
I had a lot of fun building this slotcar.

Hope you enjoy it!

Hi Barry, hope your fit and well.
Im sorry but my kits are no longer around im sorry to say.
Il have a look among the rubble of my work room, there may be
the odd shell there, but it may take some time to look, im
in the prosses of flogging my house so iv had to empty that room
and anything that was worth keeping is in a box somewhere !!!!!!
Ill try and see if there is one knocking around
kind regards, Mac

Yes I am...

Thanks Olivier, beautiful job.

This was in trade for something, but I'm not even sure what it was now... maybe another body by Mac P?

There are some talented guys in France!

Lovely bodywork, Bigblock, and great to use the old Marusan/Atlas motor-chassis.
What are the wheels?

Wheels were with Don's furnitures so I'm unable to tell you were they come from .
I used Slot Classic spokes and old aluminium inserts I had to modify to obtain something that goes perfectly in these naked wheels . Tires are by Pink Kar but Don will certainly use something else to run on woodtracks .

Thanks for your kind words about the car .
I was pretty scared about the result because I did not build any car since a long time , and never had to use eye-glasses to work ....

wish I could find my 20 years old eyes .....

If I remember right, these were just some Revell or similar period wheels I had knocking around - regular 5/40 threaded from the 60s - but what Olivier has done with them is something else!

I know about ageing eyesight but some of us have problems with fingers too. You've done a brilliant job on the wheels and everything else.
And hourra/hooray for threaded axles.

Hi BARRY, im not too sure whether you will say you are in or out of luck !!
Iv found two shells, the first is a production shell but it is slightly deformed
on the lower front edge, if you spend a little time with hot water it could be
brought back to something like right.
The second shell looks like a pre-production mould shot, i think you may be
ok with that one.
Iv also found the metalwork to go with that kit plus a driver and the Owen
racing organisation badge /decal for the nose of the car but no windsgreen,
sorry.
If you could PM me your postal address ill get them off to you in a few days.

OLIVIER, i did notice thay your car dose not have a Owen racing badge/decal
on the nose, if you would like me to post one to you please PM your address,
If the car has already been posted to Don, maybe he would like that decal,
i think we could trust him to apply it dont you !!!!
Cheers

I haven't received it yet Eddie - it's hot off the presses! If by any miracle it arrives in the Post tomorrow morning I'll throw it in the backpack..

Mac, if you've seen some of my bodywork, you probably wouldn't trust me even with the decal.... And make sure you don't leave any cars for the buyer of your house - save them for posterity!

I was wondering if he would like the Oaklands Park cognoscenti to pop round & give him a hand with his house clearance
?
