The first clue is the painting was inspired by our visit to Brooklands.

So the building is a clue to what they are.

I don't know much about planes but with the Brooklands connection, is it a De Haviland?

I think that's a Aston Martin" Ulster" and the plane is a "Gypsy Moth", don't know about the colour's though!

I'm guessing that since it's Brooklands.... and the lady on the wheel is in pink... that it can only be Barbara Cartland?

(I know this wasn't the question but it was the first thing that struck me when I saw the
painting!)

Yes,
The plane is a Brooklands Flying School Tiger Moth. Who's colours it is in. I also thought a "Ulster" When (I first saw the painting) So John you must be right.

The car looks too wide to be one of those to me. I thought the SS not really Jag but Jag really Jag until I saw the massive drums.. NO - I'll still guess the Jag but obviously painted in Froggy Blue
