Hi all

I've been reading a book about terrian modelling, specificly about building deciduous trees. The trees are made of twisted copper wire, but where it talks about the covering for the armature, the author mentions a product called 'Tetrion'. I think this is a brand name, and not a material. The book is one of the 'Osprey' books which are printed in the UK.

Does anyone know what this material is? It is a powder, and may just be plaster. Although I tried plaster, and it flakes off the armature very easily.

Thanks
Bill

The way I covered my wire tree on a train set was silicon, selastic, its rubber, for automotive use in gaskets. I took the pic side wards to get a better shot.

Silicone, hadn't thought of that.
Thanks for the tip Monaro. I'll try it also. Good for tree/car contact I suppose
