the pb will deliver full amps in digital mode with only one psu plugged in and a dummy jack plugged in the other port.
But for analouge mode not sure if this is true,your psu's are way down on the required amps needed and also you need to have the pb in analouge mode as well,not sure as to what they are set to as default.
As you have opened up the unit and soldered to the board the warranty is now void as well.
You really do need 4 amps per psu and there are plenty of threads in the scaley digital section showing cheaper high amp psu at very good money.toshiba laptop supplys being one of them..
