Sorry if I have missed this information but can anyone either direct me to or tell me how to take apart the C7042 APB? I will be incorporating it into a routed track.

I think Alan means seperating the PB from the trackpiece?

Than It is 8 screws, knife to cut plastic, and extend 12 wires (4 power, 8 sensor). They are coloured, a little fiddly but not too difficult. Go for It.

Here´s how I did it. You can do a much better job with the cables but they work.

Thank you everyone for all the input. Easier then I thought it would be! Since the track will be routed 100% it appears I will have to fabricate a bracket of sorts to mount the sensors. I think I should also install plugs etc in case the unit needs to be worked on.
