Hi guys
Just had small problem with a new DPR chip from my platinum set
after using it in one of my porsche spyders when taking it out
the connector on the chip stayed on the plug of the wiring loom
pulled straight off the 4 pins which bent as well.
still cant get it off the plug now any ideal of how to fix it?

It very much depends if the copper tracks were damaged when the pins ripped off. It does sound as though the soldering was not up to much or the socket in the car was not quite right.

I would be inclined to contact Scalextric and get them to fix it.
