Yo Martyn, all normal here - Firefox with Adblock.

ABP has started selling holes to advertisers, so it is a bit more porous than it used to be. The current adblocking plug-in of choice for Firefox and Chrome is uBlock Origin (not just uBlock, that's out of date). I also use NoScript in Firefox to block scripts, but that adds a certain amount of additional burden on the user to manage the sites they want to allow scripts from (as I write this, the page is showing scripts being run from nine different domains, three of which I am still blocking). The Firefox and Chrome plug-ins will run quite happily on Android devices, too, but since we are an Apple-free household, I can't atest to their behaviour on iOS devices. If I disable my ad-blocker (Adblock Plus) I get the same annoying pop-up, but with Adblock Plus enabled everything is free of interruptions. I'm using Firefox with Windows 10.
If you're not already using an ad-blocker, try one. They're unobtrusive and make browsing a much more pleasant experience.

Popup Blocker for safari possibly. And what about mobile platform? No firefox on ipad!
I have a tablet without an adblocker (running Android) and it's not a one time thing for me on that. I get the pop-up on every page I visit. It's only a one time thing per page: press no, then it's gone for good if I return to that page, but new page, new message. It makes the forum virtually unusable, so if you're able to get VS to do anything about it, I'd be very grateful. It should only be a one time thing though. Just click on 'yes' or 'no' then 'I agree' and it should disappear permanently. It does for me.
If anybody is having a continuing problem with it then let us know and we will take it up with VS.
