Hi All, We took a trip to Brighton Marina on sunday to have a look round the Giant car boot sale, when we got over the dissapiontment of a gaint sale only having about 20 stalls the kids noticed an AFX Electronic control station.
After originaly being told it was £10 and a bit of umming and ahhhing I got it for £3!!!!!!!!!! Add on 8 batteries£5(why is asda so expensive lol) it all adds up to the kids having a great time trying to work out what all the beeps it emmits means!!!!!!!
Anyone else think this is a bargin or am I just sad?????? Also any other bargins people have picked up from car boots??

You jammy, jammy, jammy man! That's the bargain of the century for the control station. Well done. My brother and I always wanted that as kids but it was always so expensive. He bought one a few years ago but the moment had passed.

I'm sure Daniel and Stephen will love it and it will help them practise being able to see their laptimes

I've been having a frustrating hour trying to get Ultimate Racer to detect my infra red sensors to do the same job. Then I tried Lap Timer 2000 before my laptop crashed. Its only just come back from those cretins at PC World for a health check as well. Its supposed to ruddy work!! Argh!!

The "computer experts*" at PC World are regularly voted as the worst people to hand your PC over to for anything ..... look what happened to a Mr G Glitter

but rest easy as the worst PC World is reckoned to be in Oxford ..........

The irony is that when it went in it was just for a replacement screen. It was running a tad slow but I think that's more because it is a tiny netbook more than anything sinister.
