Yes Even had 4 spare guides and braids in each box the touring set has all the crash barriers underneath all the instructions as well as a catalogue

I only statrted getting a few scalextric cars in last month or so as I bought a set for my daughters Christmas sort of got me in the mood for more.

might check the bootsale next week:)

You definitely did well. I've been struggling at car boots recently but I'm always looking for HO. I always see a fair bit of Scalextric and loads of the cheap 1:43rd Artin stuff for some reason.

Thats good going, I remember a few years ago doing a couple of booty's and while it was still dark and while I was tryin to get set up people would be asking if I had beanie babies, mcdonalds toys and scalextric stuff!
The last one I did I never saw any decent scaley stuff, but the 1:1 car shows I go to throw up some decent stuff quite often, but thanks to ebay most stall holders know the value to collectors and its hard to get a good deal these days!!

Hi Rusty,

The two I've been going to most are Upper Dicker and Polegate. I'm regularly finding large cardboxes of Scaley classic and it is usually for a tenner. Cars are more of a rareity although I've seen an Escort and a Porsche at Polegate the last two times I went so they didn't sell the first week. Porsche only had three wheels.

Cheers

Hi Rusty,

Thanks I'd appreciate that. I've always wondered if there is any interest in the Scalextric Classic track and whether it is worth picking up to pass onto people. What do people think?

I race at Worthing HO (which is actually Goring) and nationally with EAHORC which is all over the Southern part of the country.

Whereabouts are you based?

Drop me a PM as we're probably thread diverging!

Cheers

Gareth

Gareth have to agree with Julian here, the track is mainly bin worthy at best but it's always worth having a look. I have not yet seen specialist kit (above classic and very occasional sport track) but I live in hope.
