Carbon rod?

Hi all, have any of you used Carbon rod? Been looking for Plastic, around the 1mm dia. size. could not find any. but found this Carbon stuff. Very strong and light.
Question is. What glue to use? Nothing I have will glue two parts together.

I was wondering if this was to be a roll cage with no bends


Do you not have the Plastruct butyrate covered wire in the UK? This stuff is great for roll cages, because it bends and glues easily. Heavier, I'm sure than Carbon fiber though.

It's in 1/43 scale but I used the plastic covered wire for this roll bar. stuck together with gap filling CA glue.
