Carbon rod?

Hi all, have any of you used Carbon rod? Been looking for Plastic, around the 1mm dia. size. could not find any. but found this Carbon stuff. Very strong and light.
Question is. What glue to use? Nothing I have will glue two parts together.

You will have to key the surface of the carbon rod before glueing it (with 2k epoxy glue like Araldite) otherwise it won't stick...
After sanding wipe off with a cloth with nailpolish remover (degrease), allow to air-dry and then glue it to whatever surface you have/need
