Well I've been buying lots of Carrera recently and love the new two mag style, easy to remove, non intrusive giving lots of space inside to chip.

I know the other version with the sliding front mag which I'm not keen on.

But now I found this

The guide is about 3cm long and moved the front magnet front side to side as it goes round corners.

Does this work? I guess not otherwise we would see it more.

I doubt the guide will even fit my SSD track.

Looking forward to d-chipping the Pro-x chip and getting it on my track.

Oh, just a quick question, does the Pro-x chip have any second hand value?

Cheers

Yea that's the OLD Pro-X Carrera cars.
Think there were 4 different mag systems - Pro-X, Sliding type, screw in type and the current ones which are clipped out from inside the car.

Don't think it will get around your track! - I have one of these and it does go well on a Carrera track.
The reason behind the long keel with the holes was to pickup track sensors in the actual groove.
As you're a non mag user just remove the keel and mag and replace the keel with a standard one.

Wouldn't think the chip is worth anything except to maybe someone running a full Pro-X system.

Cheers
