At last, a release we have all been waiting for - the Cartrix Mercedes W196. Available in two versions, the CTX0910 is the Fangio No.10 version and the CTX0911 is the Moss No.6 version. These models are supplied in a presentation tin with a commemorative cloth/duster on which is inprinted a drawing of the car, the Cartrix logo and the Grand Prix Legends logo.

Stocks are very limited to start with, but they are starting to drift through now. Contact your local dealer for more details or to order these fabulous models.

No, they don't have tumours underneath, they have a rrp of only £39.95 and I think the rear wheels and axle look fine without getting too picky. Lets not get back on those tracks again of 'the body is 2mm too long' etc etc.

Here are the pictures as promised - sorry the quality is not brilliant, I was a bit rushed, but hopefully will answer many of your questions:

Remember when discussing the price that £39.95 is the rrp, so I doubt it will be on sale for that everywhere. Also, the Cartrix Honda NSX had an rrp of £34.00 and was supplied in a standard jewel case (and was extremely popular) - the Mercedes comes in a presentation tin with commemorative cloth and display stand, and so if we were looking at any other manufacturer we would classify this as a 'special edition' for which we would expect to pay more. Personally I think Cartrix have done well to keep the price below the £40 barrier.

Sorry, no news on either at the moment - thats the problem with Spanish companies this time of year, as all are on a months holiday throughout August. Will post as soon as I get news.
