Found another reason to use the Challenger System.

It is great for finding where you need to install power taps at! My layout calls for some rather nasty twisties in the middle of the course. Normally when you are driving a car around the track, you really don't notice the dip in the power since you either back off or deslot.

After I trained the safety car and started it running on slow speed, I noticed in one area it was pulsing. The same area that I knew I had a tap in.

After a little investigative work, I found that yes I ran the tap but I never installed the tap into the track rails (hence the pulsing since the power was not constant through this area).

I fixed the tap and now it's like having a whole new track!!!!!

So it is also a very useful tool in addition to its designed purpose.
