This car has been hiding in the shed since the early to mid 90s. I’ve decided to pull it out, Install new tires and add a new body. I found this Volkswagen body online and just completed paint and decoration. Since the opening of our new local wood routed track, I thought I would run this car and see if it’s something I still want to do now that I’m also really enjoy the drag racing scene.
The only thing disappointing is the Lexan on this body is so unbelievably thin. It developed two cracks on the front nose just handling while I was painting it. I won’t be able to race it At this time because there is no class for this motor. It’ll give me some time to just run on the track by myself.
