HI John... 50:50 whether I'll be able to make this round, which is a shame.

Also - at the moment we're looking at the first Sunday in May for the Nascot Wood round.

Hi John,
Will be there. Isn't 8.30 a bit early to start practice considering the distances of travel involved for most people, 9.00 would be a bit more sociable with racing from 11.00.

There appears to be a problem with the interpretation of the rules at the last round concerning controllers, to make it clear. the rules are no electrical aids on controllers these should be of SINGLE resistor only of any make. Please can you all asure that your club members adhere to this, also when you are visiting clubs and are practising please make sure that you use the correct type of tyres and not silicones
.
See you all there for a good days racing, dont forget that all races count at this round.

Just need a date for your round then Mr Zendragon. Everything else seems booked.

Re the rules - things are becoming rather slack... we now have drivers adjusting cars before the start (not allowed) and also drivers or team mates adding their own sticky stuff to tyres (deffo not allowed).

Also - what about the one lap practice rule (which I blatantly broke because everyone else was getting four or five laps before the start, so I thought "why shouldn't I"?).

Does the above mean someone has put their hands up to using a dodgy controller at the last round ? I thought the matter was finished but if someone has admitted doing it then their scores should be edited from the results. Lets get this controller thing resolved, move on and enjoy the racing.

hope to announce the date for the round at MHSC some time this week once we have sorted out who our landlords are.

Nightrider I was just using the forum as an information stage, to let everyone know that some indiscrections had been noticed and discussed by the committee, I am suprised by Abbos points on this thread and again wonder who is being accused, (maybe the committee should be more watchfull because I have not noticed anything).
Lets keep this series fun the rules are simple enough after all just turn up with a STANDARD controller of single resistance and race the cars are supplied.

Was thinking of coming down tonight but the snow has changed my mind. I'm sure those roads down there are fun in the snow
, maybe get down on the 21st

John,
was going to ask for your club calender for the next few weeks then remember the strange way your club runs, please let everyone else into your secret.
Cheers

Russ,
if you dont mind the smoke maybe we can arrange an evening, might even get the magician envolved which will negate the smoking problem

Yes, we had a brill day out, those cakes made the day special, we had some good laughs on the way home, something to do with a wet toilet seat at Beaconsfields!!!!

We will be ok for April 29th but not the 6th May as it's a bank holiday weekend (stuff already planned) plus Gaydon festival 2 weeks after.

cheers
