Went to the club Thursday evening with zen to clean up our fantastic dos lap counting software. The program allow us to pause the clock and cut power to each driver. The system will allow us to give a stop and go penalty at random but the club members do not want to use this facilty. It's the best software but cannot be run on new machines because of clock speed issues.
So Roland it's all working 100% with a clean database of drivers and results.
Maybe a master class before the next series as the perception is that its a very difficult system to use not as flexible/user friendly as our software, and is the reason that we score all rounds rather than 5 from 6, have the ability to rerun a race , start stop a race easily, hay ho!!!, MASTER CLASS SOON PLEASE
Unfortunatley our club runs on a Monday mate, guess were I will be, anyway, maybe at the next round we can have a tutorial so we can take advantage of these facilities, something that I dont remember the restart/rerun facility being used, or even a printout of races.
Good days racing today with an entry of 25 racers
Some great racing throughout the day with the home drivers (MHSC AND Eastcote) managing to block out the top 10 apart from Mr Hearne who did very well to take 2nd position overall. Matt was 1st and Zen 3rd
Cars ran very well all day with only 1 pitstop being required.
Cakes seemed to go down well
Final round is next Sunday 6th May at Nascote wood's track. Cars for the day will be Ninco Gallardo's and hot food will also be available
Practice is next Friday 4th May from 7.30pm,
They are using Formula Libre class, basically anything without a mag and max of 30k motor
