A very enjoyable first Monday nights racing. Well done to Steve after coming first. Maybe Dave will prove tougher competition in two weeks time if he learns to stay on the track more than one lap.

Still room for a couple more racers if anyone is interested in joining in.

You won't be up for coming and giving me hand with it then i s'pose?

Yeah, its one of those part time retirement jobs that has double the hours and quarter the pay of a normal job. Still it keeps me in slot cars.

Sorry can't come up to help today as I've got take the lads out trampoling, swimming and on a 5 mile hike through the QE country park.

See you tonight though.

See you there lads, if I am late start without me as tomorrow at work 6pm to 8pm is designated as an unpaid team building session - so I am aiming to exit the building at 7pm and should be with you at 7.30

Andy, just my own thoughts:-

It makes more sense if tyres, motors etc, are kept as standard on a one manufacturer class as it keeps racing close and, why bother specifying a manufacturer and then start changing things. It only means he with the deepest pockets will win.

If a class comprises of cars from any manufacturer then specified hop-ups for some or all makes are necessary to help keep racing reasonably close. These can be stated by the person who picked the class.

Peter may sound like your wife but I hope she doesn't look like him.

Regards Keith
