Hi All.
On July the 31st , Rob Mason, Ste Howard, Neil Hirst and I, will be riding from Liverpool to Leeds on the Leeds Liverpool Canal. We are cycling 127 miles and we are aiming to complete this in 15 hours!

Saturday 9pm
Dropped the 4 lads off in Liverpool last night at their 'Hotel' for the night, so that they could get an early start sunday morning. It may proove to be an earlier than expected start as they have rooms on the same floor as a group of extremely boisterous girls on a hen night.

All 4 have made it safely to the first stop at Wigan. Approx 1/6th distance

The lads have made it to Blackburn. Making good progress. They are just short of half distance

Approx 75miles done arrived at Burnley.
I'm off now to meet them at Foulridge Warf, then further along at Skipton, to take them fresh drinks / supplies.

Update 4.00pm
Met up with the 4 riders at Foulridge Warfe approx 2/3 distance. All in good spirits and riding well despite Rob having an off earlier in the day and grazing his arm and leg (luckily he didn't end up in the canal

They just stopped off at Gary Smales (Pendle Slot Club member) house boat for refreshments.

The finishing line was crossed at around 10.21pm. All 4 were elated at completing the ride despite suffering from tired legs, sore a***, cuts & bruises and a ducking in the canal for Rob. I'll let Nick & Neil fill you in with the info & images of the event ............ when they eventually come into work
