Nice chassis fergy

Re the x frame thing they did cross over I built one using flat spring steel out of windscreen wiper blades but it seemed a bit too flexy .I later tried connecting the left side of the chassis to the right front wheel and vice versa ,but that was way back when I used to keep the front wheels on the deck.I dont think it really worked but it looked cool at the time

You got it thats why I tried the other way still didnt work though.I later tried mounting an inline motor on a pivoting cradle to keep the rear wheels and guide in contact with the track , similar to todays flexy board but with out the springing ,Its quite bad to visualise but it did work well breaking the accrington lap record on its first outing (a record which had stood unchallenged for over 12 months)
Unforunatly I didnt keep it but I have enough spares to replicate it one day including the Marcos mantis bodyshell

120 TURNS OF 36 SWG will liven that 13uo up a bit and that will keep with the scratch building theme alturnativly a pair of mags from an old fox and 70 turns of 34swg will make it a rocket
Mole grips are an english device for handling small underground rodents
