Dear Friends,

I would like to start with the metallic chassis construction for vintage f1 such as Ferrari supersqualo, so on...I've seen you're masters making that kind of chassis and, unfortunately, i do not know how to start.
Could you help me with materials I need, how to fix motor and axles...

Your kind help woudl be highly aprreciated...

Thanks in advance,

Hi

Not knowing where you are, the easiest start is to buy a motor bracket that bolts onto your motor and then just copy one of the frames you have seen here.

A simple frame consists of taking a .032 sheet of brass, tracing the body onto it, soldering the motor mount to that plate, and doing axle and guide. Fairly simple.

The Squalo has lots of room for that stuff.

Another option is to buy one of the old Atlas motor and brass carrier bits on Ebay(CHEAP). With that, a few screws and a little soldering and you are done.
